Qualified Preschool Teacher
We are currently looking for a qualified and certified Preschool Teacher (ECE) to join our teaching team. If you love working with preschool children from diverse cultural backgrounds and enjoy being part of a fun, energetic, and caring team, our inner-city preschool could be the place for you. We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for literacy, nature, art, and Māori and Pasifika education.
Our programme has a strong focus on preparing our preschoolers for lifelong learning, as well as utilising all that our wonderful city has to offer, with regular trips to Te Papa, Wellington Museum, art galleries, and the botanical gardens.
We welcome applications from beginning ECE-qualified teachers.
Our remuneration package includes full pay parity, 7 weeks of annual leave, study leave, and professional learning and development opportunities. We also support your costs toward certification and first aid. We have an established mentoring programme in place for beginning teachers working towards full certification, as well as for our more experienced teachers.
A New Zealand-recognised Early Childhood Qualification and certification are essential. Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. We are not an accredited employer.
